ARCUHN keeps its use of cookies and similar technologies to a minimum.
This page explains what we currently use and what would change if additional technologies are introduced in the future.

02What ARCUHN uses
ARCUHN currently only uses cookies or similar technologies where technically necessary for the website to function correctly and securely.
Cookie status: essential only
Tracking: no profiles, no cross-site tracking
Analytics: GoatCounter, without cookies and without personal data
We currently do not use:

- tracking cookies
- behavioural profiling
- marketing cookies
- analytics cookies
03Essential technology
Essential cookies or similar storage may be used for:
- website security
- maintaining necessary interface states
- technical website functionality
They are not used to build advertising profiles or follow users across unrelated websites.

- GoatCounter

- Google Search Console
Visit statistics. We use GoatCounter to count visits. It works without cookies. It stores nothing on your device and does not store your IP address. It only keeps totals, for example how many visits a page had and from which country or browser. Because of this, it does not need a cookie banner.
Search Console. We use Google Search Console to see how our site appears in Google search. We receive statistics from Google. It places nothing on your device when you visit our site.
Video calls. When you open a call, a new tab opens on Whereby’s website. Whereby’s own cookie and privacy policies apply there.
We only list what we have checked. Using an external provider does not automatically mean that tracking cookies are placed.
05If this changes
ARCUHN may introduce new website functionality in the future.
If we begin using analytics, marketing, tracking or other technologies that require consent, this policy will be updated and an appropriate consent mechanism will be introduced before those technologies are activated.
No consent-required technology will load before you have made a choice.
06Your browser
You can use your browser settings to view, remove or block stored website data.
Blocking technically necessary storage may cause parts of the website to stop working correctly.
07Changes
As the ARCUHN website develops, this Cookie Policy may change.
